Kathryn Louise Weakland Obituary (1922 - 2006)

She was born on October 29, 1922 to Jerome and Domenica Marchetti in Hooversville, Pennsylvania. She married George Walter Weakland on May 11, 1940 and had 2 sons, Jimmy and Donnie. Her passions included crochet, puzzles, and playing rummy and solitaire. Survived by sons, Jimmy (Patty), and granddaughter Susan (Dale) Olson and almost great grandson Keyan Olson, and Donnie (Diane) and grandkids Theresa, Pamela, Donald Jr. and Regina. Preceeded in death by husband George Weakland and special friend Eula Simpson. Special thanks to many nurses and friends at Sandy Regional Nursing home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary in Kathryn’s name. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at the Taylorsville City Cemetery (4500 So. Redwood Rd) at 2:00 p.m. Friends and family may call at the Mortuary on Tuesday from 1 – 1:45 p.m.
