Keith Wendell Floyd Obituary (1928 - 2017)

Keith Wendell Floyd, our loving father, grandfather and friend, returned to our Heavenly Father on June 16, 2017 after a long and gracious life. Keith was born on March 19, 1928 in Conda, Idaho to Wendell Floyd and Nina Dunn Floyd Pierson. He was the oldest of two. He leaves behind five children, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren who will miss his strength, wisdom, support and love. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Shirley Jones Floyd. Keith was a civil servant of the State of Utah for over 27 years. He served as the Director of the State Motor Pool for most of those years. His greatest enjoyments were hunting, fishing, camping—and most importantly, spending time with his family. A viewing will be held Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street, Murray, Utah. A graveside service will be held Monday, June 26th, at 11:00 a.m. at Murray City Cemetery, 5600 S. Vine Street. He will be greatly missed.
