Keith J. Allred Obituary (1929 - 2011)

–“Loving Father and Grandpa”- peacefully passed away in his sleep on March 31, 2011, at the age of 81. Our father, grandpa and friend completed his journey here on earth and is now reunited with his spouse and “Perfect Partner” Arlene Mae Leidholdt Allred, who preceded him in death just 14 months ago. Keith leaves behind his Children; Linda and Fred Jones; Alan and Delynn; Robert and Cindy; Steve and Janice; Chris and Shirley Allred, 29 Grand Children, 27 Great Grand Children, his dog Brandi, and many good friends who are considered family. Keith was a Korean War Veteran and served as an Aviation Navigator in the United States Navy. Keith had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. By example he taught all those who knew him how to work hard and play equally as hard. He loved the outdoors and the time he spent in the mountains hunting and fishing. Keith was born on September 7, 1929 in Neola, Utah to James E. and Viola Allred. He married the love of his life Arlene Mae Leidholdt Allred on July 3, 1950. Together for 60 years they happily worked together, played together and experienced life together. Keith will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A viewing will be held Saturday April 2, 2011 at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway,(10600 So) South Jordan, UT from 10-11:30 am. followed by Graveside services at 12:00 noon at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, UT.
