To view a video tribute for Kendallee Thornton, please click here. “Our Shooting Star” Kendallee Thornton, loving mother, daughter, granddaughter, and friend was taken from us suddenly due to a car accident on February 17, 2006. She was born March 14, 1983. Kendallee was a shooting star who dropped pixie dust on everyone she knew--especially the love of her life--her daughter, Maleigha Jane. She lived life to its fullest. She worked hard, played hard, danced whenever the chance arose, and made friends easily. The always “stylish beauty” made her living by being a hair stylist, offering her clients professionalism and fun every time they came to her. She will be missed by all who knew her. Survived by her daughter, Maleigha; parents, Alison (Zagg) Taylor; brother, Noah (Selma) Thornton; and nephew, ‘Baby’ Bleys; grandparents, Betty (Alan) Smith; grandmother, Melody Pace; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and hundreds of loving friends. Also survived by her father, Scott Thornton; and grandmother, Mary Thornton. Preceded in death by her grandfather, Fred Thornton. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, where friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday and one hour prior to services on Wednesday. Interment Murray City Cemetery.
