Kurt Edward Joiner Obituary (1970 - 2018)

Kurt Edward Joiner peacefully passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018. He was born on, December 6, 1970, to Pauline (Massey) Joiner in Rochester, New York. He has one brother and one sister. Kurt married his sweetheart, Diana Durfey, on August 10, 2015. He had a love for all things history and graduated with a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Florida. Kurt was an all-around sports fan. His three favorite being football, baseball, and Nascar. Kurt was an amazing husband, brother, uncle, son, father, nephew, cousin, and friend. Kurt loved his family with all his heart and soul. He loved his nieces and nephews with everything in him. He was loved dearly by his brother, sister, wife, nieces, nephews & other family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Diana Durfey; daughter, Kylee Durfey; brother, Sie (Kim) Akers; sister, Michelle (Scott) Allen; nieces, Elizabeth Turbyfill & Krystyna Allen; nephew, Kenny Allen; mother and father-in-law, Beth & Russell Durfey; brothers-in-law, Melvin (Shanna, deceased) Durfey, John Durfey, Carl (Raelyne) Durfey, Dwight Durfey, Gordon (Lorrie) Durfey; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother and his brother-in-law, Ray Durfey and sister-in-law Shanna Durfey. Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. at the Midvale East 1st Ward building located at 240 East 7570 South, Midvale, Utah.
