Click HERE to view Funeral Services for Lee Dansie On January 30, 2021, Lee, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all whose lives he touched, passed away from his brave battle with cancer surrounded by his family. LeGrand was born on May 2, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Julian and Lyona Dansie. He graduated from Olympus High School in 1962. On May 22, 1971 he married Joyce (Nygren). They raised six precious children. Lee was a faithful & devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. His family was his pride and joy. He instilled in his children his strong values and always made one on one time a priority with each child and grandchild. He was known for his humble, kind and compassionate spirit. He touched countless lives and loved many including his large family, friends, neighbors, business associates and customers. He was always helping and serving others and had a soft spot for the elderly or those in need. Lee had a successful career. He was known to be an honest and trustworthy salesman and part owner of Lemco Floor Coverings in Murray, Utah for many years. Lee was passionate about cars. He had a rotating collection of Corvettes and Audi's he loved to buy and fix up. He especially enjoyed driving & spending time up in the canyons. Lee will be dearly missed by his wife Joyce, his children; Tori (Dave), Lisa (Doug), Jodi, Staci (Dave), Kim (Zack), Tyler (Tiffany) and his treasured 24 grandchildren, as well as his brothers & sisters and large extended family and friends. Proceeded in death by his parents, brother Alvin, sister Dixie, and by his granddaughter, Emme Lilia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the Cottonwood Heights 5th Ward, with a viewing prior from 1:00- 1:45 pm. Interment to follow at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 Bengal Blvd., Cottonwood Heights, UT. The service will be available for viewing on Facebook Live or through www.jenkins-soffe.com
