Linda Carole Harding Hansen Obituary (1942 - 2016)

Linda Carole Harding Hansen, age 73, returned to her Father in Heaven on April 5th, 2016. Linda was born on August 1, 1942 to Owen Meeks Harding and Florence Vilate Backus Harding in Provo, Utah. She is the 9th of 11 children: Barbara, Jack, Evelyn, Phil, Wally, Shirley, Lawrence, Jeanette, Gary, and Stephen. She then married her eternal companion, John (Johnny) Thomas Hansen on September 3, 1964, in the Salt Lake Temple and started their eternal family. They had eight (8) incredible and CRAZY children; Kristine (Michael), Shawna, Annette, Cindy (RJ), Jennifer (Russell), JoLin (Craig), Amy (Donovan), Chet (Amanda). Their family has now expanded to include twenty-two (22) grandchildren and four (4) great-grandchildren, all of whom have always felt the love that Linda and Johnny gave freely. The Hansen family enjoyed playing games including; volleyball, the Infamous Candybar game, Bingo, Catch-Phrase, and other board games. Camping was one of their true passions. They especially loved to camp at the Spruces, but also loved Tabiona with HHH&P, Fish Lake, Bear Lake and many other places. Her family will deeply miss her and is looking forward to seeing her again with the knowledge of being a Forever Family. Services will be held Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley at 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 South), South Jordan, UT 84095 at 12:00pm.
