Linda Jean Walton Mears

Cause: Complications due to COVID-19

Linda was born in Provo, Utah to Cassie Elder and Robert Walton. She loved to roam the hills and explore the river bottoms. On many occasions she brought home frogs, snakes, or even ducks to be kept in the family bathtub. She had a brilliant mind and excelled in academics. She was a poet, an artist, a comedian, and a very passionate person in all aspects. She enjoyed the jokes and the goofy antics in life, and shared it with everyone. Linda earned a bachelors of science in pharmacy from the University of Utah. She was the pharmacist at Osco for many years, and worked for many other independent pharmacies. After suffering a stroke, Linda spent the last 3 years of her life at Copper Ridge Health Care. Our entire family pays tribute to the amazing staff who took such great care of her. Linda made many friends there who expressed love towards her in many ways. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
