Lisbeth Anzick Stephan Brady Obituary (1914 - 2007)

Lisbeth Anzick Stephan Brady 1914 – 2007 Lisbeth (“Liz”), 92, beloved great grandmother, grandmother, mother and friend passed away peacefully the morning of March 8, 2007 in Salt Lake City, UT. Lisbeth was born November 19, 1914, the 8th child of Louis and Mary Anzick. She was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado. She married Joseph P. Stephan in October 1940, and moved to Murray, Utah. Joseph passed away in 1967. Lisbeth married Theodore (“Ted”) Brady in September 1968 in Salt Lake City. Ted passed away in 1985. Lisbeth was a devout Catholic and enjoyed serving as sacristan of St. Vincent’s Catholic Church for more than 40 years. Lisbeth was admired by her family and friends for her compassion and generosity of spirit. She is survived by Patti and Darold LeClaire, Mitzi Remy, Judy and Warren Knowlton, Carl Remy, eleven grand-children, 24 great-grand children. Lisbeth was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Mary Anzick,; her husbands Joseph and Theodore; step-daughter Janice Wiersman; Five brothers and 2 sisters. The family expresses its thanks to Home Options Senior Care and Vista Care Hospice for their love and concern. A viewing, vigil and funeral mass will be held at St. Vincent’s Catholic Church, 1375 Spring Lane, Salt Lake City. The viewing will be held Sunday, March 11, 2007, 5:00-7:00pm, Vigil to follow at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00am on Monday, March 12, 2007. Internment: Salt Lake Mausoleum, 1001 E 11 Avenue. In lieu of flowers, Lisbeth’s wish would be a donation to St. Vincent’s Sister Angela’s Assistance Fund. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Lisbeth’s life immediately following the internment. This celebration will be held at St. Vincent’s Benvegnu Center.
