Lola Helen Glines Meadows Obituary (1912 - 2009)

“Gone Fishin” Lola Helen Glines Meadows passed away on September 11, 2009 at age 97. She was born August 17, 1912 in Neola, Utah; the daughter of William Ernest Glines and Addie Lothanny McGuire. She has three brothers and one sister: Roland, Lyle, Darrell and Frona. She is survived by her brother, Lyle. Lola married Glenn Davis October 10, 1930; later divorced. She has four surviving children: Lloyd Glen (Ruth), Wayne (Joyce), Myrth (Coy) and Linda Lee. She has 20 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Glenn Davis, Joseph Haycock and John Fredrick Meadows; and three grandsons, Vance Davis, Michael Davis and Kirk Newbold. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 12 Noon at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, where friends may pay their respects Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday 11-11:45 a.m. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
