Lorretta McCourt Nordin D'Amico Obituary (1942 - 2018)

Born April 25th 1942 in Price, Utah to Gertrude and Thomas R. McCourt. Passed away December 16, 2018 in Murray, Utah after complications from surgery. Lorretta was the third of four children. Pat (deceased) Valene and Max. She married Johnnie Nordin on February 6, 1960, later divorced. From this union was born Lorri (Ron) Frame, Marty (Karen) Nordin, Becci deceased (Bobby) Lewis and Clint (Heather) Nordin. She married Mario D’Amico June 22, 1996. He preceded her in death. Mom had 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. They were the light of her life. Lorretta loved to fish with her life long friend Merril Allred. She loved Christmas. Mom was known for her style. Clothes and shoes were her passion. Family was her greatest pride and joy. She never missed a birthday or a party. She had a special bond with all her grandkids and great grandkids. Mom’s heart was broken and never to fully heal after the passing of her daughter Becci on November 25, 2009. She missed her daily. Even though her passing leaves a void in our hearts, it brings all of us such joy knowing she’s back with the people she so dearly missed. Celebration of Life will be Friday, December 21, 2018, 11:00 am at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 S), a visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 prior to the services.
