Luis Octavio Aragon

Husband, father, and grandfather, Luis Octavio Aragon, 52 years old was taken away from us on August 6, 2011 at an industrial work site.Luis was born in Matachic, Chihuahua, Mexico on July 18, 1959. Son of Cruz Perez Aragon and Francisco Aragon. He married Laura Martinez on August 29, 1986 in Ogden, Utah. He loved the entertainment of boxing, wrestling & baseball and was also a huge animal lover. He would spend numerous hours caring for horses and pigeons. He also enjoyed doing yard work and all sorts of house projects. He took great pride in all his work, if it was busy projects or working hard to support his family.Luis was a loving and devoted father to Jaime, Elsa, Maricruz, Rebeca and Veronica Aragon. A wonderful grandfather to Sergio Bustos, Kaylalle Wyman and Brisa Aragon. He is also survived by his 3 brothers and 3 sisters, many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, brother and sister-in-laws, and his very ill mother. Preceded in death by his sister and father.Luis will be deeply missed by all his family and friends especially wife, children, and grandchildren. He was a very kind & gentle man filled with love & peace.“We love you, dad”Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, August 13th at St. Theresa Catholic Church located at 7832 Allen St., Midvale with a visitation Friday, August 12th from 5-8:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy. (10600 S).In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Luis Aragon Memorial Fund at America First Credit Union.
