Lynn Hixson Frantz Obituary (1934 - 2010)

Lynn Hixson Frantz passed away at home after a lingering illness August 25, 2010. She was born January 21, 1934 in Salt Lake City to Kenneth D. Hixson and Elizabeth Taylor Hixson. She was raised in East Millcreek and resided in Murray, Utah the majority of her life. Lynn married Jack Edwin Keough; later divorced. They had three children, Douglas, David and Linda. She married Sherrell G. Frantz in 1972. Lynn and Sherrell owned their own business. Lynn’s efforts, hard work and support helped contribute to their success.Lynn loved her family, pets and flowers. She did beautiful needlepoint and knitting. They enjoyed their trips to Wendover.She is survived by her husband, Sherrell; her children, David (Luci) Keough, Linda (Barry) Deeter, Glen Frantz (Patti), Steve Frantz (Stephanie), Craig Frantz (Lynne), Marla Mullinex (Craig); brother, Alan (Valois) Hixson; sister, Ann (David) Tillson; 14 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, and son, Douglas. A warm thank you is extended to Dr. Matthew Hansen for his exceptional care of Lynn—his professionalism, kindness and sense of humor was greatly appreciated. The family will accept visitors on Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street, Murray, Utah. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. at the New Oakley City Cemetery located on SR32 in Oakley, Utah.In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lynn’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice. “We will miss this fiesty little lady!”
