Lynn James Boulter Obituary (1929 - 2016)

Lynn James Boulter, son of Vance James and Roene Skinner Boulter, passed away on July 19, 2016, just five days away from his 87th birthday. He always claimed that the state of Utah always joined in the celebration of his birthday on the 24th. He was married to Edith Mae Patterson in 1948, and they were married for over sixty years. They were blessed with six children, twenty-five grandchildren and thirty-seven great-grandchildren. He was a successful businessman and still had time for scouting, camping, water skiing, scuba diving as well as numerous church jobs as an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He also truly enjoyed traveling and cruises. Lynn lived an interesting life that was nothing short of miraculous. His battle with the vision- impairing retinitis pigmentosa did not stop him from engaging in many great experiences. Lynn is survived by his children Allan Brooks (Janine), Heber City, Utah; Steven (Lisa), Beaverton, Oregon; Richard (Marilyn), Heber City, Utah; Glen ( Susan), Syracuse, Utah; Nancy Webster ( Steven), Riverton, Utah; Bruce (Liz), Williamsburg, Virginia, and his brother William (Teri), St. George, Utah. Lynn was pre-deceased by his parents and siblings Don, Howard and Arlene. He was also very grateful for the companionship of his wife Maxine Lee during the final years of his life. Services will be held at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah, at 11 am on Saturday, July 23, 2016. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Cemetery, Salt Lake City, Utah.
