Lynn Marie Kirchoff Obituary (1971 - 2015)

In loving memory of Lynn Marie Kirchoff. May 12, 1971 to July 22, 2015. Lynn Marie Kirchoff began her next journey July 22, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Lynn was born and raised in Illinois by Jim and Carol Kirchoff. She was the light of their life. The family moved to Centralia, IL, where she was raised and attended Jordan Elementary and Centralia Jr. and Sr. High, graduating in the top 5 of her class. Lynn loved nature, animals, history, and tennis while growing up and developed a love of music from her parents. Lynn completed her undergraduate study of Biology at Illinois State and went on her earn her Master's Degree in Biology at University Illinois in Champaign. Lynn moved to Utah after graduating and in 2000 began her career at Bard as a compliance specialist. With her intelligence, hard work and dedication she eventually progressed to the position of Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs. Lynn was especially loved and devoted to her team, whom she over the years personally hired, and felt were all exceptional people. Lynn's favorite days at work were the dress down days when she could wear her levis. This exemplifies her approachable and unassuming calm nature for which she was known. In 2012 she met the love of her life, Mysha Angell and they began their life together with their four- legged boys, Dashiel and Timber and her two step children Teayzsha and Teran Selin. Together, Lynn and Mysha shared a love of people, animals, Jeeps, camping, traveling and especially their trips to Cannon Beach, Oregon. Lynn and Mysha were married in a commitment ceremony at Log Haven September 29, 2013 and later legally wed December 23, 2013. Lynn is an extraordinary and unforgettable person who will be deeply missed and loved by all who had the privilege to know her. Lynn is survived by her wife, Mysha Angell; her step children, Teayzsha and Teran Selin; her parents, Jim and Carol Kirchoff; her uncle, Elmer Kirchoff; and her beloved Aunt Ruth Ann Chaput. An open house to celebrate Lynn's life will be held Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 6168 View Drive Park City, Utah, 84198 from 5-8pm.
