Margaret Woodbury Lambert Low Obituary (1922 - 2015)

Our spunky mom graduated from this earthly life on Sept. 20, 2015 at age 93. Margaret was born to Margarett Woodbury and Charles Druce Lambert in Granger, UT. Her mother passed 4 days after her birth. She was blessed to be raised by another mother, Charlotte Hurley. Margaret milked cows and gathered eggs as a little girl. In her teenage years she played the clarinet at Cyprus High and attended LDS Business College. Our Dad, Howard Low, met Mom when attending church with his aunt. He soon proposed in the chicken coop as she was candling eggs (How romantic, Dad!). Dad always said, "She was a country girl who acted like a lady." They had four children: Sharlene (Fran) Olander, David (Yvonne) Low, Marian (Bob) Campbell, Marjorie (David) Drommond; 10 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Howard, and daughter, Sharlene. Mom gave 110% in everything, whether for her religion, family, or work. As a Latter-day Saint she had strong convictions and boldly shared the gospel of Jesus Christ. She tirelessly served her family, enjoyed camping trips, and competitively played games with her grandchildren. She retired from the Salt Lake County Recorders Office in 1984, one of the first to do computer data processing. With gratitude, we'd like to thank Legacy House of Bountiful and Aspire Healthcare & Hospice, especially Julie and Stacy, for their love and compassion. Funeral services are on Friday, Sept. 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah. A viewing will be held Friday morning from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
