To view a video tribute for Martha Billie Peck, please click here. “Grammy” South Jordan: Martha Billie Peck, age 66, returned to her Heavenly Father on February 22, 2007, after a valiant battle against cancer. Born May 16 1940 in Tabiona, UT. Parents; Penny and Essie Jones. Billie met and married her eternal companion Ken Peck of Kamas, Ut. Aug. 16, 1956. Later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a fun person to be with and around. Had a quick wit and great sense of humor. Never afraid to speak her mind. She loved everything about life. Her greatest accomplishment was her family and friends, she loved taking care of all of them. She worked and retired from the Jordan School District. Thank you Angie Lavery and all the lifetime friends, that touched her life. Survived by husband; Ken Peck, children; Maraget (Ray) Shuman, Kevin (Debbie) Peck, Erica (Steve) East, Kenny (Kim) Peck, Billie Jo (Dan) Grundmann, 16 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, sisters; Flora (Tom) Fabrizo, Tett (Tony) Hadlock, Yvonne Horton and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by mother; Essie, father; Penny, brothers; Mart and Ralph Lefter. Thank you Hospice alliance angles; Charlie, Jolene and Emily. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday February 26, 2007 at the Country Park Stake Center, 2447 W. 11400 South. Friends and family may call from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. So. Jordan Parkway (10600 So.) and from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. on Monday at the church. Interment Francis, Utah.
