Mary Irene Adams Sevey Match Obituary (1916 - 2006)

Grandma Rene died peacefully June 16, 2006 at her home. She was born December 23, 1916 in Teasdale, Utah to David and Kate Burr Adams. She married James F. Sevey on June 4, 1931. Later married in Provo Temple. After her 1st husband Jim died, she married Wilford “Wish” Match October 15, 1976. Preceeded in death by first husband, sisters, brothers and sons, James and Ronald Sevey. Survived by husband, Wish; sister, Kay (Bob) Younker; children, Don (Betty) Sevey, Mary (Jack) Kent, Evelyn (Eldon) Tame, Ron (Marilyn) Match and Cherie (Hugh) Buntine. She was loved by all and her greatest joy was making cookies for all her friends and family which spans 6 generations. She will be missed by all. Thank you granddaughter Sherilyn and nurses Pam, Pat and Teresa for your kind care. Grandma, thanks for all your love and sweet memories. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 19, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary (4760 So. State) with a viewing 1 hour prior to the services. Interment at Murray City Cemetery.
