Michael Lynn Atwood Obituary (1969 - 2017)

Michael Lynn Atwood 1969-2017 Michael passed away peacefully at his home June 23, 2017, with his loving wife, Kathleen, by his side after a lengthy battle with Hodgkins Lymphoma. He was born November 13, 1969 in Salt Lake City. Michael was a member of the Civil Air Patrol and a faithful member of the LDS Church. Michael worked for the O. C. Tanner Company for nearly 19 years. Their generosity and support have been beyond expectation and meant more than words can express. Michael considered it a privilege to work there. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Bergeson; parents, Jay and Arnell; brothers, Millen (Ana), Matthew (Sharlene), and Merrill (Gina); 14 nieces and nephews; extended family, and in-laws. A viewing will be held to honor him Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S State St. in Murray, from 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 29th at the Union Fort 3rd Ward Chapel on 6710 S 1300 E, Cottonwood Heights, at 11:00 am. There will be a viewing prior to the funeral from 10:00-10:45 am at the church.
