Michael R. Johnson Obituary (1954 - 2015)

May 22, 1954 - Oct 15, 2015 There comes a time in our lives when its necessary to reflect upon ones own mortality and our life here on earth. During this reflection many ask one familiar question? Have I been a good person? Today we are reminded that goodness within ones heart cannot be diminished by an individual's own trials, but should be measured by the true and loving person they were! On October 15th, 2015 we lost a father, a brother, a friend, and a man that embodied a pure goodness in his heart! Michael was very proud of his kids which he loved dearly and he cherished every moment he could spend with them. Michael had a deep affection for animals, especially his cats and took the opportunity to rescue as many as he could. Michael was a caring spirit with a genuine love for all and was never afraid to admit it. Michael worked for Holy Cross Hospital and Jordan Valley Medical Center in Plant Operations as a Painter and Handyman for close to 30 years. He was very skilled and had an incredible work ethic, one that he employed in the service of others every chance he could get. Michael is survived by wife Maggie Johnson, his sons, Phillip (Tracey) Johnson, Christopher (Lauren) Johnson, his brothers Stephen (June) Johnson, David (Corrine) Johnson, Larry Bergen, Jeff Bergen & Ryan (Raschelle) Rentler as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Randall A. Johnson, his sister Suzanne Johnson Wolfe and his mother Irene Bergen.
