Michael "Mike" McPherron Obituary (1948 - 2017)

Edward Michael "Mike" McPherron, 69, passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday August 31, 2017. He was born May 22, 1948 to William and Gladys (Marshall) McPherron in Murray, Utah. On November 23, 1973 he married Susan Kae Raddon in Murray, Utah. Mike enjoyed family, hunting, fishing and golf. He is survived by his wife Susan; his two sons, Jason Jon McPherron and Joshua Michael McPherron; father-in-law, Milton; 10 grandchildren: Kaylee, Kenzee, Damian, Alexis, Tanner, Lillian, Siri, Jackson, Charlie and Payton; and 1 great-grandchild, Oaklie; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Jamie Ian McPherron; parents, William and Gladys; his grandparents, Jessie, Bessie, Edward, and Eliza; mother-in-law, Adelle; two brothers, Bill and Jon; sister, Patty; and sister-in-law, Beckie. A time of gathering will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Murray City Cemetery.
