Michelle Lee Elsner Anderton Obituary (1972 - 2009)

Our beloved mom, wife, and daughter left us on July 7, 2009 unexpectedly and way too soon at a local hospital following a sudden illness. Michelle was born June 9, 1972 to Tim and Vonda Elsner in Salt Lake City. She graduated from Kearns High in 1990. Married Russell Shane Anderton on July 20, 1991. Michelle was a talented dog groomer for many years. She also worked for the Granite School District for 9 years. But most of all she was the best mom in the world to her two beautiful precious daughters, Savannah, age 10 and Sierra, age 5. She loved to spend every minute with them. She was a wonderful daughter and a loving wife and friend to all who met her. She loved Halloween, collecting angels and thimbles, and was an excellent gardener starting all her plants and vegetables from seeds in her green house. She was an avid yard seller – always looking for that unique treasure. Our hearts are broken!! She will be deeply missed and NEVER forgotten. Until we meet again. She is survived by her sweetheart Shane; her two wonderful parents, Tim and Vonda; sister, Teresa Anderson; and her life joys, daughters Savannah and Sierra. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 13, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. So. Jordan Parkway. Viewing will be held Sunday, July 12, 2009 from 5-7 p.m. and Monday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment South Jordan Cemetery.
