Mitiola Losehina Iongi Obituary (1973 - 2020)

Click Here To View Funeral Webcast Mitiola was born November 9, 1973 to Te’Pangi Feleti Iongi and Kilisitina Loimata Tonga in Ha’akame, Nuku'alofa Tonga. She was their sixth child. She passed away December 15, 2020. Mitiola was a tremendously hard worker and would walk, ride her bike in the snow or figure out transportation to get to work. She valued family and was always there to assist her Mom and sisters in making sure the luau or family reunion or whatever celebration was being held, was done well! Mitiola was able to attend her father’s funeral and say her peace and then she passed the next evening, which was far more quickly than anyone anticipated. She will be missed, but we are grateful for the Plan of Salvation through our Savior Jesus Christ and in the knowledge that she is at peace and no longer in pain. She is preceded in death by her son U’hila Iongi and both of her parents. She is survived by her children, Uaniva Rebecca Iongi, Vesosio Leka Iongi, Annabella Soleil Iongi, and Tineleti Sii Iongi. And her siblings Aniseta Fusi Tuifua, Heneli Iongi (Rebecca Pack), Taeauna Iongi, Siaosi Ikani Iongi (Tonya Barber), Tineleti Tau (Vaiki Tau), Mosese Iongi (Natalie Fitzgerald) and many many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home located at 1007 West South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, UT 84095 on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. The Family Viewing will be held from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM. The Bishop’s Program will begin at 11:30 AM. Interment will be at the American Fork City Cemetery located at 26 West 600 North, American Fork, UT 84003
