Neil Douglas Petrick Obituary (1948 - 2013)

Neil Douglas Petrick, age 65, Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away November 1, 2013 due to complications of diabetes. He was born May 1, 1948 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin to Donald and Janet Petrick. He married Patricia A. Mitchell on August 23, 1986 at Panguitch Lake, Utah. Neil graduated from Judge Memorial High School in 1966, also attended U of U. He was employed with Christensen Diamond for 15 plus years, after which he accepted employment with UDOT until his passing. Neil enjoyed family, friends, reading, telling jokes and the great outdoors, a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers, the Utes and Jazz. Neil loved to make people laugh. He was a short SOB, with a tall sense of humor. He is survived by his wife Patty, sons Travis Neil, Paul, James, dauther-in-law Melisa, daughter Bree, brother Scott (Carolyn), sisters Sue (Joe), Nan (Chris) and 7 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, son Travis Clay Davis, father-in-law James C. Mitchell. Special thanks to the staff at IMC.
