Patricia Sanchez Rains Obituary (1955 - 2016)

12/2/1955 ~ 1/4/2016 With great sadness and many broken hearts we announce to all that when our mom was called on January 4, 2016, she reached out her hand to the Almighty God and went home. So sad for all of us, but what a beautiful reunion for her. In having that said, we would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love & support from so many. Patricia was born on December 2, 1955 in Salt Lake City Utah. Her spirit will be carried on by her loving parents John & Mary Sanchez whom she loved dearly and enjoyed her special times with; Her beloved husband Dean Rains who she met at such a young age and loved with all her heart; Her beautiful children Nick & Niltza, Shaun & Jessica, Stephanie & Adam who she cherished every day; Her grandchildren that meant the world to her Dominic, Anthony, Alec, Mariah, A.J., Alyssa, Ashton, Aliyah, Nikkolas, Kayden, Isaiah, Andrew & Kaelie; Her siblings Mike & Carol, Wanda, Brenda & Peter, Daphne & Tony; Her Goddaughter Natalie; and many nieces , nephews, cousins & friends from all walks of life. Her love for music and her dance performances will be some of our many cherished memories. She loved the outdoors, boating, fishing, cleaning and planting flowers in her yard for all to see. Those are just a few of many things she enjoyed, but her biggest treasure was her family. She will be reunited in heaven with her son Rick Sanchez, her nephew Andy Sanchez, her aunt Virginia Carter, her grandparents and many more. We would like to send a special thanks to Ray Fasteners, where she has worked for the past 20 years. For all the love and support they have given to all of us through this difficult time. Also many thanks to the doctors and staff at Utah Cancer Specialists and everyone one who took part in taking care of our mother. She was a beautiful person (our Mother Teresa) who made a difference in the lives of so many. We would like to invite you to join us and celebrate her life together.
