Pratish Patel Obituary (1972 - 2021)

Pratish was a wonderful son, caring husband, father, brother and friend. He left this world on March 02, 2021 at the age of 48 after a courageous battle with Cancer. He was born to Jayashree and Girishchandra Patel in Baroda, INDIA, on September 8, 1972. After graduating from Sardar Patel University in 1995, he married love of his life Deepa Patel in the year 2000. Together they had two wonderful daughters Stuthi and Sanvi. Chasing his dreams, he moved to the United States to start a career in IT in 1999. He moved to Utah in 2011, he was working with Goldman Sachs as Vice President within Core Engineering. Pratish was full of life, he had many hobbies. He had a passion for Photography, he always loved to click beautiful pictures of his family. He was great artist and enjoying painting. He was a kind person, was engaged in multiple volunteering activities both in his personal and professional life. He had a great passion for gardening and spent his free time gardening in his backyard. Pratish was always a brilliant, top-of-the-class professional, and a great mentor. Pratish treated everyone equally and always had a smile on his face. He brought much joy and love to everyone around him. He was the humblest of the people with an ever-helping attitude. There will be a noticeable void with his absence in all of our lives and hearts. He is survived by his parents Jayashree and Girishchandra Patel, wife Deepa Patel, two daughters, Stuthi and Sanvi Patel and Sister Abhisha. A memorial service will be held on March 4 Thursday 1-2 pm, visitation, followed by cremation at Jenkins Soffe Funeral Home, 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy, South Jordan, UT 84095.
