R. Craig Morrison Obituary (1955 - 2017)

R. Craig Morrison passed away on January 11, 2017, in Murray, UT. He was born on June 17, 1955 in Pocatello, ID to Ronald and Lois Morrison (Kakunes). The family relocated to Salt Lake City. He graduated from West High School and Utah State University. He served for two years on an LDS Mission in Germany. He had a successful career working for the State of Utah for over 30 years, where he made many friends. He was kind and generous, and his happiest moments were spent with his family, friends, and his dogs. He is survived by his brothers, Mike and Steve (Julie); his sisters, Cindy Savelkoul (Bo) and Sheri Petersen (Kim); and 12 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary and on Saturday from 10:00-10:50 a.m. prior to the service.
