Raymond "Kit" L. Kitchens Obituary (1928 - 2012)

Our Rock, our Hero, our Dad, Raymond L. “Kit” Kitchens passed away on May 22, 2012 from complications due to Parkinson’s. Born July 26, 1928 to George and Dagmar Kitchens. Kit served in the Navy. He loved bowling. He spent many years in scouting and Order of the Arrow earning the Silver Beaver award. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he held many callings. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Neda Winn Kitchens; children Linda (Derryl) Balfour, Karen (Steven) Hess, Sheila Hampton, Doug (Sue) Kitchens, Debbie (Skip) England, Gary Kitchens, David Kitchens; 19 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. We would like to thank the staff at Garden Terrace Rehab. Funeral services Tuesday, May 29, 2012, 1:00 p.m. at Riverside 1st Ward, 5425 S Allendale (600 W), Murray, Utah. Viewing from 11-12:45 p.m. at the church. Interment Murray City Cemetery.
