Ronald Peter Zeller

–

South Jordan, UT

Ron Zeller made a difference; he empowered hundreds of thousands of people around the world to a bigger life. Ron Zeller served as and was ever after a U.S. Marine. Ron earned a Master's Degree in Geology at Brigham Young University in Utah and taught there and at the University of California Berkley. He taught at the high school level and was a high school principal and California Superintendent of Schools. Ron worked in Education Research at the Behavioral Sciences Foundation in California and studied rapid literacy methods with Paulo Freire in Guinea Bissau, Africa and at Gandhi's Schools in India. He worked with Werner Erhard, developing and leading specialized training in human development. He directed programs in communication, productivity, and leadership. He directed Youth at Risk Programs, empowering thousands of struggling youth to brilliant, unpredictable futures. He has consulted and trained people from business executives to heads of government. Ron made the impossible possible…for himself and so many others.

Ron was a master. He was extraordinary. He was a world adventurer, completing many long distance hikes and runs, including the Himalayan Mountains, the Inca Trail, the Wasatch 100, and the Bad Water Ultra-Marathon. He was the 2006 World Power Lifting Champion for his age and weight. Ron set out to "master" cancer and survived, using only natural therapies, for 3 times longer than anyone in recorded medical history with his kind of cancer. He set out to "master" aging and wrote a book, "Aging or Ageless". He developed and delivered a seminar, "The Fenix Event", an experience of human transformation of aging. He made a difference for all of us.

Ron is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Zeller; sons Ron Zeller, Jr., Dr. Ryan Zeller, Richard Zeller; stepson Tony Nogueras; son Adam Zeller; and brother Peter Zeller.
