Samlee Alan Harrison Obituary (1951 - 2009)

“Al” Loving husband, father, friend and neighbor, Al Harrison, passed away Feb.12, 2009. Al was born March 8, 1951. Al was friendly, outgoing, and always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a Vietnam Army Vet, Civil Servant, and also started Al’s Satellite. He was also an avid sportsman, gardener and amateur photographer. He is survived by his wife and soul mate, Blanche; children, John, Linda (Bill) Tucker, T.J. (Mary) Coopride, Samantha (Shaun) Nelson; 5 grandchildren, including his best friend, Tyler Newman; brother, Joe Swift; sister, Diane Swift; father, Samlee; and many loving relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his mother, Velma, and his beloved grandparents, Alma and Rachel Sackett. Funeral services will be held at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St., Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009 at 1 p.m., and viewings will be held Tuesday night from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the mortuary. Interment: Utah Veterans Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the mortuary to assist the family with funeral costs.
