Samuel Burnell Gerber Obituary (1981 - 2013)

Samuel Burnell Gerber passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 at home after a hard fight with glioblastoma brain cancer at the age of 31. He was born to his loving mother Joyce Gerber and father Kevin J. Gerber. He finished eleven years of schooling. He worked most of his life as a construction worker to help support his family. He enjoyed being outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Jessica Gerber, his three beautiful kids, Nichole Ann Gerber, Maranda Lynn Gerber, and Kevin Wayed Gerber, mother Joyce Gerber, stepfather William Earl Harrison, Sr., grandparents Lorene Burns and Myrna Gerber, brother William Earl Harrison, Jr. Samuel was preceded in death by his father Kevin J. Gerber, sister Jackie Lee Gerber, grandparents Jack Burnell Burns and Leland Delbert Gerber, and his uncle Gary Lee Gerber. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 11:00 am at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street, Murray, Utah. A viewing will be held at the mortuary on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 pm.
