Sen-Ying Chien Obituary (1923 - 2010)

Our mother - Chien-Sen-Ying (also known by Au Yang Sha Fei in the Chinese movie industry) was born on September 9, 1923 in the city of Suzhou, Jiangsu China to a middle class family. She was the middle child with an elder brother above her and Uncle Charlie being the youngest. Many faces of Ou Yang Sha Fei while we known her as “Mommy, Po-Po & Tai-Po (grand mother and great grand mother in Chinese)Shortly after our grand-father's passing she was forced to quit school and had taken on the role of the sole provider for her family. Worked as a sales girl in a department store where she was discovered and later attended acting school where she met our father Doo Kwang Gee, director / producer whose style made them an awesome team in the movie industry in Mainland China and later in Hong Kong.Many faces of Ou Yang Sha Fei while we known her as “mommy, retired from the movie industry for nearly 10 years; settled in the city of Sandy Utah to be closer to her eldest daughter, her grand children and her only great-grand daughter.August 3, 2010 at 7:00 pm our mother pass away peacefully in her sleep at a fruitful age of 86 years old, survived by three daughters and a son, six grand children and a great grand-daughter; her god-son Siu Tak Sang, owner of New Golden Restaurant.These are the names: Daughter Laureen Doo Thomas (Sandy Utah USA) Son - John Thomas Great grand daughter – Bobbie Thomas Daughter – Rachel Thomas Daughter – Anita ThomasDaughter Doo Gee Mei, husband and two sons (Taipei, Taiwan) Daughter Anita Doo and husband Terrence Oseman (N.
