Shantel Lou Sponsler Obituary (1996 - 2020)

View Funeral Webcast Shantel L. Sponsler passed away on May 22, 2020 in West Valley City, Ut at the young age of 23. She is survived by her parents Don and Debbie, twin sister Shaylee, niece Aubree and Godmother Myra Strickland. Shantel was born Oct 21, 1996 in West Jordan, Ut. She worked at Okubo Farm and nursery where she loved playing in the flowers and making people smile. Her happy place was hiking and exploring in the mountains with her dog Kato and friends and sure loved giving hugs and kissing to her grandma Betty. Her happiest days were spent with her niece Aubree and little friend Sible. She is preceded in death by her grandpa Ron Jensen. Shantel is loved and missed more than words can say, she was the spunk in our family and we will never be the same. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 29, 2020 at 12:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, Utah, with viewing on Thursday, May 28, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, only 50 people will be allowed in the building at a time.
