Sharon Dean Booth Peterson Obituary (1943 - 2008)

“Sheri” Sharon Dean Booth Peterson died at home on January 28, 2008 of causes related to Pulmonary Fibrosis. Sheri was born in Murray, Utah on March 1, 1943. She was the oldest of four siblings. She attended Murray High School. After high school she married Richard (Dick) Peterson. He preceded her in death in April 1993. They were the parents of two daughters, Stacey and Shelley. Sheri was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She had a great love for her family and friends. She was employed by Home Interiors and Gifts where she served as both a Unit and Branch Director. She worked for them for 39 years and enjoyed her many associations there. She is survived by her parents, Fred R. and Janice Booth; her brothers, Fred (Vicki) Booth, Mark (Deb) Booth; and a sister, Brenda (Craig) Oliver. She is also survived by her daughters, Stacey Mills and Shelley (Brook) Smith. Her grandchildren, Megan, Jake, and Kelsey Mills; Andi and Kenny Smith; and her great-grandson, Owen Bills, always held a very special place in her heart. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Gail (Bob) Bleazard, as well as her many nieces and nephews and her extended Home Interiors Family. Her family would also like to express a special thanks to Ruth Roesner and her family for the special kindness and support they showed her. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 1, 2008 at 12 Noon at the Brookshire Ward, 1325 W. 5550 So. The viewing will be Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley Mortuary, 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy (10600 South) and one hour prior the services on Friday at the church. Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates.
