Sharon Mae Glasgow Zaharias Obituary (1946 - 2018)

Sharon Mae Glasgow Zaharias passed away from her Earthly home on Monday, October 1st, 2018 at the age of 71. She will be forever remembered by her husband and best friend David, their two children Shane (Heidi) and Jodie (Bill), and brother Devon Glasgow (Kris). David and Sharon have 7 grandchildren (Tanner, Layne (Savannah), Hailey, Gavin, Dawson, Cooper, and Kazen), and first future great-grandson (Paxton.) Sharon will be missed by her nieces and nephews, as well as her friends and neighbors. She is preceded in death by her loving parents William Otho Glasgow and Maxine Lugene Warner Glasgow. Sharon was born in Ogden Utah, and then later lived in both Riverdale and Layton before the family settled in Kearns. Some of her fondest childhood memories were spending time at her Grandma Warner’s farm playing with cousins and enjoying the simple life. Sharon was also a talented artist who loved painting outdoor landscapes. She enjoyed ceramics, holiday fun, and crafting of all kinds! She routinely had her tea time in the afternoon and loved all things Victorian! Undoubtedly, Sharon’s favorite annual tradition was the Warner family camp out and spending time with family and friends. Finally, Sharon’s passion in life was her family. She devoted her life to her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was always the caretaker and the inspiration behind the scenes. She raised a loving family that continues to grow and will be her greatest legacy. The family would like to thank Doctor Sean Mcmillan MD, and her team of doctors that shared their talents and made such a difference in Sharon’s life. A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held on Friday, October 5th at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Chapel at 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy,(10600 So.) South Jordan, Utah. The viewing will be from 9:30-10:45 am, followed by a program from 11:00-12:15pm. There will be a light family lunch directly afterwards at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Chapel. Interment graveside services will follow at 2:30pm at the Heber City Cemetery located at 680 N 550 E, Heber Utah.
