Sherry Cook Redmond Obituary (1956 - 2006)

Most Devoted Mother Sherry Cook Redmond Passed away May 3, 2006. She fought a courageous 27 year battle with Scleroderma, but cancer took her life. She was born April 11, 1956 to Dennis Leroy Cook and Katherine Nell Adams Cook Troyer in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married the “love of her life” Bruce J. Redmond June 1, 1985. Sherry devoted her life to lovingly caring for her two disabled children. She was talented in the arts. She enjoyed painting and decorating her home. She is survived by her husband, son, Shiloe and daughter, Lacie, mother, Katherine Cook Troyer, brothers; Dennis (Lori) Cook Jr., Micheal (Kathy) Cook, sister, Dianna (Jim) Malcolm, grandmothers; Emma Cook and Velma Kirkpatrick & numerous other family members. Preceded in death by father, Dennis Cook Sr. and grandfather, Thornton Cook. Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 8, 2006, 1:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 So.), where friends and family may call Sunday May 7, 2006 from 5-7 pm and Monday from 12-12:45 prior to the service. Interment Redwood Memorial Estates.
