Shonya Marie Heusser Obituary (1938 - 2008)

“Caretaker of Love” Five years ago, this great woman said goodbye to Richard Heusser and now Shonya Marie is off to see her best friend, her husband, and the love of her life. Dick and Shon’s life story is a love story and Shon, you are Dick’s special and only star. Shon, to us you are so gentle, so giving, so loving, so strong, and so humble. Already, we miss you so much. We cry. Oh Mom, Oh Shon! Please, please don’t go. (But you taught us and we know you must) Oh Mom, Oh Shon! We can’t say good-bye—it hurts too much. (But you taught us and we know you must) Forgive us if we miss your gentle spirit, your spirit as gentle as the whisper-soft kiss of the morning dew. Forgive us if we miss your sweet soul, your soul so sweet, honey will blush. (But you taught us and we know you must) Oh Mom, Oh Shon! We remember Grandpa and Grandma’s tales of your childhood—your smile, your laughter, and times of naughty. Oh how your Mom (Marie) and Dad (Bart) filled with pride. Please give them a huge hug for us. We all miss them too. And hug our Aunt Dorothy, we all love her the same; while we are busy hugging your brother, Bart, hugging him in your name. If the keys to Heaven are love, take Shella’s love, take Kim’s love, and take Shaun’s love. Heaven is on your nieces and nephew, this time. Oh Mom. Oh Mom. Oh Mom. Oh Grandma. Love, Rick and Taunya Shonya Marie Heusser, 70, passed away in Murray, Utah on November 11, 2008. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on April 24, 1938 to Bartholomew Dennery and Marie Flandro. She attended Murray High School. Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Murray City Cemetery, 5600 So. Vine Street.
