Theron David Read Obituary (1964 - 2009)

“Uncle Thud”Theron David Read passed away July 20, 2009. Born Sept. 25, 1964 in Burbank, CA to Patricia A. and Don C Read. He was a graduate of Cyprus High with a keen mind, quick-wit and sense of humor who excelled in debate and drama.Theron spent several years in Community Theater and had bit parts in many movies shot locally. He had a passion for the arts and enjoyed writing poetry and short stories.He leaves behind his father; sister, La Dawn (Michael Boman); nephews, Brennan, Cameron, Devan, and Parker Boman; niece, Shanyn Boman; and many dear friends. Preceded in death by his mother.Funeral services will be Monday, July 27, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St., where family and friends may attend the viewing Sunday evening from 5-7 p.m. and from 10-10:45 a.m. on Monday. Interment: Elysian Burial Gardens.
