Tim Wyatt Obituary (1951 - 2019)

Tim Wyatt (Leon Timothy Wyatt) Tim Wyatt peacefully passed away in his sleep on December 28, 2019. Tim was born to Lafayette Tildren Wyatt & Audrey Mowrey on April 17, 1951. He married Sherry Louise Burkhardt in 1973 and they had four sons. Later divorced, he met and married the love of his life, Susan Whitney Wilson on March 6, 2010 extending his family by four children. He is survived by his wife, Susan; sons, Tim II (Melissa), Robert (Andrea), Neil, Brian (Scott); 16 grandchildren and one on the way; and siblings, Frank Wyatt, Shirley (Jack) Peart, Leslie Heisey, Loren (Denise) Wyatt, Lynette (John) Shisler. Proceeded in death by his parents; siblings “Red” Norma Kay, and grandson, Tristan. Tim was a decorated Vietnam War veteran, He was an Eagle Scout, and a dedicated Scout Master for BSA troop #1111 for many years. He influenced the lives of many young men and was very proud of their life accomplishments. He was a devoted husband, and raised four “reasonably responsible” boys, and was a doting grandfather. Tim loved all things Disney. He loved collecting clocks and watches, and loved travelling the world. He co-founded the custom home design company Highland Group, along with his business partner and friend Tim Furner. Together, over the past 33 years, they designed hundreds of dream homes for their clients throughout the Salt Lake Valley, Summit and Wasatch County, and beyond. Kirby Kirkman joined “The Tims” a few years later, forming the commercial group HKG Architecture. A Celebration of Life open house will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020, at the Wyatt Residence: 5859 S. Murray Parkway Avenue, Murray, Utah. Please come any time from 10:00am-1:00pm.
