Vicky Lee Petersen Obituary (1943 - 2018)

“Gram” Our sweet and sassy “Gram” passed away at the age of 75 on January 28, 2018 at home. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Clayton Dennis and Vivian Potts. She married her best friend and the love of her life, Mack. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. She raised 4 kids of her own but raised so many more through the daycare she ran in her home for over 30 years. She loved her daycare kids as her own. Her home was a place you wanted to be. She always had room for one more with a warm meal and an open door for someone to stay. Survived by her daughter, Jody; son, Lance; sister, Sandy Wonick; grandchildren, Dallas, Jenna, Arlin, Jessie, Cash, Bailey, Aubrey; and 4 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Mack; son, Mack Jr.; daughter, Robyn (Russ); grandson, Joey; her parents and her brother, Bill (Debbie). We would like to thank Comfort Worx Hospice, especially Liz, Cathy and Natalie for all the loving care they gave to Mom. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 2, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State St., Murray, with a viewing prior from 10:00-10:45 a.m. Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
