Our vivacious mother passed away on June 9, 2012 surrounded by her loving family after a difficult battle with cancer. She was born in Murray, Utah on April 27, 1939 to Herman Boyd and Alice Winger Jensen. She was married to Nathan Gibson Long in 1960 and later divorced. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She graduated from Olympus High School and was a graduate of Felt & Terrant Business School. She worked in the corporate offices at Skaggs for over 30 years.\n\nAnnette adored her family, especially her six grandkids. She loved TV, Pepsi, a good sale, sports (especially baseball), traveling, playing cards, honking her car horn for various reasons and “woman power”. She always kept us laughing with her crazy sense of humor. Our hearts will never be the same until we are with her again.\n\nSurvived by: Alice Winger Jensen (mother); daughters Deone (Brian) Williams and Danielle (Brad) Dillon; sisters Joyce Silvers and J’Leanne Ellis; granchildren Courtnie, Connor & McCoy Williams and Braden, Brock & Alexandra Dillon. She was preceded in death by her father, Herman Boyd Jensen. A special thanks to Hospice for Utah for their sweet care of our mom.\n\nFuneral Service will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the Taylorsville Park Ward Chapel (1555 W. Lovely Road).
