Our mom, wife, daughter, sister and friend, Barbara Ann Bos, passed away Monday, September 8, 2008 after a long, difficult fight against a debilitating neurological disease. We are comforted knowing she is free from her suffering and met her dogs Casey and Sadie at Rainbow Bridge.\nMom was born to Marcia Ann and James George Dirksen on October 6, 1961, in Springfield, Illinios. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and was attending Southern Illionois University when she met her “doughhead”, Jim. On June 27, 1981 Mom and Dad (James Lee Bos) were married. Annamarie was born in 1988 and Christopher followed in 1989.\nShe was employed as an insurance claims processor and Hallmark Card merchandiser but she found her calling as a stay-at-home mom. She was happiest surrounded by her family, her puppies and sunflowers. She was the most generous, thoughtful, gracious and humble woman you could ever meet. She spent as much time as needed to find ‘the perfect gift’ to give and never forgot to send cards and letters for every occasion.\nSurvived by her husband, daughter and son. Mother, Marcia; Father, James (Betty); Brother, James, Jr. (Carrie & Reid); Sisters, Joan Miller (Rob, Alli & Belle), Clare Boggess (Mark & Trey); and much loved extended family, especially Aunt Judy.\nWe would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our friends at Hilltop United Methodist Church, Union 6th Ward and Miller MotorSports Park. Dr. Greenlee and Dr. Fehlauer but ESPECIALLY the staff of “Angels” at Aspen Park/Silverado for their unconditional love and care through to the end.\nA memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 13 at Hilltop United Methodist Church, 985 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah; 801-571-5777.\nIn lieu of flowers, please make donations in the name of Barbara Bos at any Wells Fargo Bank to assist the family in paying medical bills.\nBE AN ORGAN DONOR!
