Betty Campbell McKee died at home in South Jordan, UT on July 4, 2011 after a short battle with cancer.\n\nShe was born on January 29, 1936 in Preston, ID to Sidney Weldon Campbell and Maude Eliza Davis Campbell. She was the fifth of ten children. She graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1954.\n\nShe met Bob McKee at church as he was stationed at Larsen Air Force Base in Moses Lake, WA. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on February 11, 1955. Betty and Bob had a wonderful opportunity to serve a mission in Nauvoo, IL from 1999-2001.\n\nBetty was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was a constant example of faith and humility to her children and grandchildren.\n\nShe is survived by her husband Bob McKee, children: sons, Michael (Tammy) McKee, Barry (Mindee) McKee, Jay (Denyce) McKee; daughters, Kim McKee, Stacey (Stanton) Johnsen, Jamie McKee; brothers, Dick Campbell, Bruce Campbell, Craig Campbell, Scott Campbell; sisters, Janice Sanders, Kathleen Barrett, Elaine Smith; 14 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Ned and Reid Campbell.\n\nFuneral services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 11:00 am at the River Ridge 4th Ward, 1244 W. Chavez Drive (9700 S.). A viewing will be held Friday, July 8, 2011 from 6-8 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy (10600 S.) and on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 am prior to services at the church. Interment South Jordan Cemetery.
