Brett Eric Larsen Obituary (1979 - 2007)

Brett Eric Larsen, age 28, our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend passed away on Oct. 5, 2007. He was loved, and will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Brett was born on Feb, 1, 1979 in Salt Lake City, UT to Stephen Gordon and Susan Denise Hansen Larsen. Brett was a wild and free spirit; he had a heart that was larger than life itself. He was very generous and unselfish, he always cared more for his family and friends than he did for himself. He loved to make people laugh; and was good at it. Brett was a hard worker; he ran heavy equipment for Ames Constr. and was a member of the Local # 3 Operating Engineers Union. Brett loved to play hard too, if he thought something was fun and thrilling, he did it to the extreme. Brett loved to ride ATV's and Harleys, camp, fish, gamble, and most of all party with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandpa William Arlo Hansen, and is survived by his parents Stephen and Susan, brothers Chad and Cody, grandma Hazel Hansen, grandparents Gordon and Martha Larsen, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He will also be missed by the Barons Motorcycle Club, which his dad and brother Chad are members of, and many of the Barons were close friends of Brett. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday Oct. 12, at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 West South Jordan Parkway (10600 S). A viewing for family and friends will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to service on Friday. Interment Murray City Cemetery.
