Carma Rae Gardner was born August 30, 1940 and passed away on June 13, 2007. Our mother, grandmother, sister and aunt left our earthly presence to join our Heavenly Father and loved ones on the other side. Mother touched so many lives and made so many people feel loved and important. She loved Strawberry Reservoir just like her father. Mom and Gerry managed the Soldier Creek Marina, and made many friendships. She enjoyed bonfires, houseboating on Lake Powell and her gardening. She once said God knows even of a fallen sparrow. She loved her piano and played at many functions. Music was her life!\n\nShe was employed for 30 years for Blue Cross and Blue Shield and received many awards for her accomplishments. She finished at the top of her career and did the same with her life. She will be greatly missed.\n\nSurvived by her brother, Bernard Gardner, Glen Christensen, ex-husband, children, Cynthia Petersen, Craig Christensen, Catherine (Anthony) Scorzato, Cary Christensen, and six precious grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Max and Clara Gardner, siblings, Blaine, Maxine, brother-in-law Gordon Allred.\n\nFuneral Services will be held Saturday, June 16, 2007, 3:00 pm at the Oquirrh 9th Ward, 6567 So. Wakefield Way (6035 W.), where friends and family may call from 2-3 pm prior to the service. Interment, Monday, June 18, 2007, 1:00 pm at Vernal Memorial Park, 1700 South 500 East, Vernal Utah.
