DiAnn R. Bradshaw

–

Kamas, Utah

The world lost a beautiful, loving, and giving soul. DiAnn R. Bradshaw, age 80 passed away with her loving family surrounding her on January 19, 2026.

Born on April 25, 1945, in Salt Lake City, DiAnn grew up with a deep appreciation for family, laughter, and the simple joys of life. She married her husband Daniel L. Bradshaw and together they built a home filled with warmth, generosity, and support.

DiAnn chose a career as a hairdresser, a path that fit her perfectly because she truly loved people. She owned a beauty salon and worked side by side with her four sisters. They worked hard, but they played even harder — every day spent with them felt less like work and more like time with her best friends.

She didn’t travel often, but she cherished the trips she took to Hawaii, California, and the Caribbean with her daughter and family. Her favorite place of all was Cheyenne, Wyoming, where she and her sisters enjoyed the rodeo, country music, and plenty of line dancing. She had the opportunity to meet George Strait, her favorite country artist. She and her sisters also loved bowling, movies and card games.

DiAnn also loved riding UTVs with her husband, her son, and her daughter in law. And she loved dancing with her sweetheart — it was one of their favorite things to do together, and anyone who saw them could feel the joy they shared.

She spent many weekends in Wendover, Nevada with her family, and she loved cheering on the Utah Jazz, especially during the years when John Stockton played.

DiAnn had an amazing, fun loving personality. Anyone who knew her knew she was a prankster, and you always had to stay on your toes around her because you never knew what she might be planning next. Her laughter, her mischief, and her sense of humor brought so much life into every room she entered.

Her greatest joy, though, was taking care of her family. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with her whole heart, and she held a special place for her many nieces and nephews as well. Everyone knew that if they needed help, they could turn to her. She was steady, dependable, and always willing to show up for the people she loved.

DiAnn is survived by two of her children, Daren (Michelle) Bradshaw and Darcy (Steve) Nelson; her grandchildren, great grandchildren, three sisters and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Richens and Freeda Hair, her husband Daniel L. Bradshaw, son Danny Bradshaw and daughter Kelli Sears.
