Ellen Dolores Warner Rollins, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, age 92, passed away at her home in Holladay, Utah on April 9, 2022.\n\nDolores was born July 16, 1929 in Fillmore, Utah to Harold Carling Warner and Mary Alice Warner. She married Arden Rollins on November 1, 1947, at her grandparent’s home in Beaver, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on December 5, 1961.\nDolores graduated from Millard High School in 1947, where she excelled in school and participated in many social activities. She was fun loving and enjoyed many friendships. \n\nShe loved her family above all else and had a special relationship with each family member. She made each grandchild feel as if they were her “favorite.” As one grandchild said; “There is only one Grandma Rollins!”\n\nShe was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many church callings throughout her life. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family get-togethers, and creating family memories. She also loved cheering for the Utah Jazz, fishing, sewing, gardening, visiting neighbors, “people watching” and laughing.\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Arden parents, sister, Phyllis Fordham and son-in-law, Jeff Mattson.\n\nShe is survived by her children, Jan Burnside (Steve); Gary Rollins (Dixie); Vickie Siegel; (Mark) and Michelle Gowans (Ron), 21 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and siblings Betty Harward and Eldon (Nancy) Warner.\nSpecial thanks to hospice nurses, Suz, Rhonda and Denise for their tender care of our mother.\n\nFuneral services will be held Wednesday, April 13, 12:00 p.m. at the Cottonwood 3rd Ward, 6301 South 2300 East, Holladay, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the service at the church from 11:00-11:45 a.m.
