“On the Road Again”\n\nDonald LeRoy Hansen, age 81, died November 28, 2005 from injuries he received from an accident. We will miss you Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, Brother, Uncle Don.\n\nDon was born in 1924 to Henry C. Hansen and Christina Lucille Turpin Hansen. He was the fifth of ten children. Don married Tabetha Fay Jenkins in May 1947, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1997.\n\nDon worked as a machinist and millwright. He retired from Hercules Aerospace Company (now Alliant Tech) in 1987. He was an active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, performing honors for his military comrades. Don was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was known for his sense of humor and was a friend to everyone he met.\n\nDon is survived by his son Gene (Joyce) Hansen, and daughters Judy (Stan) Moore, Karen Hansen, Cheryl LaTraille, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, brothers Dean and Max, and sister Elsie. Preceded in death by his wife Tabetha (Toby), infant daughter ReNae, parents, sisters Hannah, Elaine and Ruth, brothers Walt, Jesse, and Fred. \n\nFuneral services will be held Friday, December 2, 2005 at 12 Noon at the Taylorsville Park Ward, 1555 W. Lovely Rd (5100 So.). Friends and family may call from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St., and from 11-11:45 at the church on Friday prior to services. Interment Elysian Burial Gardens.
