Dwight Golden Durfey, age 50, passed to the other side on Monday, December 31, 2018 due to a heart attack in Farmington, UT. He was born Sunday, December 15, 1968 to Russell Lowe and Beth Jensen Durfey. He loved his family and did many things to improve their lives greatly. \r\n\r\nHe was always willing to help anyone move that needed it, even when he wasn't in good health. He was extremely generous, kind, and loving. He always opened his doors for family and friends who needed a place to live.\r\n\r\nHe was married in his early years, but after a divorce he remained single.\r\n\r\nHe graduated from Murray High School. His chosen profession was as a computer programmer for Orbit Irrigation Inc.\r\n\r\nHe is survived by his parents, Russell Lowe and Beth Jensen Durfey; siblings: Melvin Durfey of Draper, UT, John Durfey of Farmington, UT, and Carl (Raelyn) Durfey of Murray, UT, Gordon (Lorrie) Durfey, and Diana Joiner of Midvale, UT; also 12 nephews, 10 nieces, 7 great-nephews, and 5 great-nieces.\r\n\r\nHe is preceded in death by his brother, Ray Thomas Durfey; sister-in-law, Shanna Christensen Durfey; and brother-in-law, Kurt Joiner.\r\n\r\nFuneral services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 12:00 noon at the Midvale 1st Ward located at 308 West 7500 South, Midvale, UT with a viewing from 11:00-11:45 a.m. prior to the service.
