'Eseta Vaisima Hakaumotu, was called home by her Father in Heaven on the early hours of January 7, 2020 in the LDS Hospital while surrounded by her family. \r\n\r\n'Eseta was born in Tonga on May 28, 1964 to Sione Vaisima Tu'itavuki and Maile Losalio Lufe. She and her twin brother were the youngest of 12 children. 'Eseta was preceded in death by her parents, Sione Vaisima Tu'itavuki and Maile Losalio Lufe; brothers, 'Ilami Tukula('Ana), Alipate Vaisima and Senituli Vaisima; and sister, Loisi Vaisima.\r\n\r\n'Eseta is survived by her husband, Sione Hakaumotu; her only son, Sione Veimau Lufe Hakaumotu; nieces, Siumalu Napa'a Palau and Katiolani Napa'a who she raised as her own; sisters, 'Iunisi, Tamea Vaisima, Mele Silesa Palanite('Aleki Palanite) and Sifila Napa'a(Sione Napa'a); brothers, Tomasi Vaisima(Vusika), Samiu Vaisima(Nunia) and Kaufana Vaisima(LIlly); and her many nieces and nephews.\r\n\r\n'Eseta married the love of her life, Sione Hakaumotu, in the Nuku'alofa, Tongan Temple on October 8, 1986 where they were sealed for all time and eternity, after serving a full time mission for the LDS church in the Nuku'alofa Tongan Mission. In 1989 they migrated to American Samoa and then later to the United States in 1993. Sione was 'Eseta's best friend, and she was his whole life. Their love story was one for the books; they did everything together and to Sione, 'Eseta was his life.\r\n\r\nTogether they have one son, Sione Veimau Lufe Hakaumotu. Sione Veimau was her life, and he could do no wrong is her eyes. \r\n\r\n'Eseta was a vibrant individual; she loved hard and would always have a smile on her face. She was loved by many and will be missed greatly. She had a heart of gold, and she worked hard to provide for her family. She worked for Sorensen Bioscience (later known as Corning) from 1994 until September of 2019. \r\n\r\nFuneral services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at the Park View Tongan Ward located at 1172 Glendale Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah 84104. A viewing will be held from 8:00-11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Cemetery, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah 84120.
